Mettleflo is a spin out company from legacy St George’s founded in 2022 with the aim of producing innovative courses in resilience and wellbeing. Founded by two psychologists from the School of Health & Medical Sciences – and .
The first course was developed and launched in partnership with The Learning Rooms (leading digital learning services company) in ÃÛÌÒTV. This is a six session, self-paced, evidence based online course called “Building Resilience” which will increase wellbeing and resilience.
The partnership brings key expertise in commercialising personal development courses and making them accessible to individuals and businesses.
About the 'Building Resilience' course
This evidence-based Building Resilience course aims to improve resilience, well-being, and mental health. Learners will be introduced to key psychological findings which optimise the ability to adapt to changing circumstances, coping with stress and negative life events. Experiential tasks are included to embed new knowledge in learners’ own lives. The six sessions cover, introduction to resilience and wellbeing, self-care and goal setting, habitual ways of thinking, self-regulation, understanding the “self” and relating to others.
